Ubi should announce an ornament made and a emblem frame, like we won in the good old days, that will only be rewarded to the next faction to win a war over the Vikings. Call it something to do with "overthrow" and make it look like a viking longship split in half on a rock, whatever works.
If the Vikings continue winning, it will never see the light of day.
So essentially I'm saying Ubi should go ahead and formally acknowledge that we have imbalanced the faction war by most the active community switching to one side, and place a bounty on defeating that side so there is incentive to jump ship back to other factions.

On the latest update, it says that the creative timer could be extended to 10 minutes. However, when I tried to play some creative levels I couldn’t find any option to extend the timer. Is this option only for the creators of the levels? If not then I was wondering if someone could tell me how to change the timer.

So I've come up with a way for my main character to save the love interest, but I can't tell if the method and consequences not only feel fair, but don't feel like a cheap way to solve the problem.
So for context, the love interest turns into a ghoul, a magical creature with a mind bent on cruelty and destruction. For several chapters the main character chases them down and looks for a cure, but can't find a way to save them.
The main character has been followed by an extraplaner entity for the majority of the story and the entity offers a deal. The entity will restore the love interest to how they were, but the main character has to allow them five minutes to puppeteer their body.
The main character agrees and the entity heals the love interest. However, they also turn the main character into node, a pathway for extraplaner entities to cross over from the other plane to our side. So long as the node stays open, they will be able to stick around.
Basically the entity enters our world and becomes yet another powerful villain to deal with. Not only that, but other powerful entities are entering our world and it's up to the main character to fight them off and send them back.
I can't determine if this just feels cheap or not. Any thoughts?

Trying to load version 1.4.2 but it doesn't load
I wanna play a mod on that version, but it doesn't even allow me to open the launcher. I go to steam, click play and it says: " Error occurred while updating hoi4 (missing executable) and then the location of the files. I have the game saved on a separate hard drive and not the windows storage. can anyone help? I'll provide more info if U need. This is the second time I'm posting this since no one seemed to notice the first time. DM me or comment if you can help

I'm about to start a role as a junior embedded dev. The commute is quite a long drive (40m-1hr during rush), so I'm looking for things I can listen to along the way to help me learn.
Video formats are okay as long as I wouldn't have to pay attention to it, so the best I got at the moment is maybe something along the lines of conference talks, although I'm not sure what's appropriate for my experience level. Only other idea I had was Audible titles.
Any recommendations for conferences/audiobooks? All other suggestions greatly appreciated!

Hi all, I'm looking to upgrade my existing earbuds (TaoTronics TT-BH052) as well as replace a busted wired headset (Jabra Evolve 40) that I've been using for work. Given how I've used those currently, here's my overall criteria, mostly in order of importance.

1. Call Quality & Audio Quality: My current earbuds are decent for audio quality and useless for calls, so I never use them for calls, which is a bit annoying. The headset were great for using with my laptop, and I could do Teams calls for work with them as well as using them for general listening to music, YouTube, etc. on the laptop. I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I do want to have a good listening experience for music (mostly via Spotify).
   
2. Multipoint: As noted, I'm looking to replace two devices that were used for different purposes -- one for my phone and one for my laptop. If I could seamlessly switch between the two,that would be fantastic. Although I am used to switching devices currently, making that experience smoother would be a plus.
   
3. Wireless charging: Cases generally hold enough charges to last a while (I'm not the type to have earbuds in constantly, although I do anticipate more usage with whatever new set I pick up), so having to plug in to charge is not a deal breaker. But wireless charging is always my preference when available and may tip the scales if two sets of earbuds are close otherwise.
   
4. Exercise: I have my own small home gym, so I don't really have an issue playing my own music over a speaker. But there are times that I will workout with earbuds, so having a set that will be secure even when I'm sweaty is a plus.
   
5. ANC: It would probably be nice to have. I do have some sensory issues at times, so being able to block out sounds could be beneficial (I'm also on the hunt for good earplugs for general use, but that's a separate subject). I've also managed to get by without it, though, so it's not necessarily mandatory. But perhaps it may play into the call quality, which is a top priority for me, so I am listing it.
   

Based on the research I've done so far, here are the ones I'm considering (in no particular order). I'm also open to other suggestions if you feel I've missed something.

1. Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3
2. Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro
3. Nothing Ear 2
4. Anker Soundcore Liberty 4
5. Jabra Elite 7 Pro

Budget is probably apprent from those choices, but I'm looking in the $100-$200 range, preferably on the lower end of that, but I'm willing to stretch for something exceptional.
I do realize that wireless earbuds won't really replace a wired headset for call quality. But I'm really tired of managing that wire, and it's had the same problem most wired earphones/headsets experience where the connection at the plug gets loose and starts dropped channels. And I really want one device to replace both my current earbuds and the wired headset. So, that's why I want something good for calls rather than sticking with a wired or wireless headset solution.
For additional detail, I have a Samsung Galaxy S22+ phone and a Galaxy Watch 4, but otherwise, I am not really committed to the Samsung ecosystem (in general, I prefer platform-agnostic). My laptop is a Lenovo ThinkPad (work-provided), and I also have an HP Chromebook that I'll use. I also play games on a PS4 (local-only, no online multiplayer), but I have no expectations for using earbuds for that since I know Sony doesn't really support BT audio. I had been using my headset with it, though, which was a great experience for some games (The Last of Us, for example).

I am here with the hope that I'd find someone who would maybe become a good friend. I wanted a a few simple things: someone close to my age (16-18), someone's who's willing to reciprocate in a friendship and someone who's just a little patient. But I've not yet found a person. I'm going to give it another try because I'm stubborn.

Getting my 23 XSE Hybrid is July and looking ahead to purchase some steel rims and winter tires and trying to determine what will actually come on my car. I do know that they will be 18" Alloy rims. In the manual however, they mention a Type A, B and C related to tire and rim sizes, does anyone know what those types indicate??
I have found some 17" steel rims and need to determine which size tires to use so as not to mess with the speedometer or any other aspects of the drivetrain, etc.
If anyone could provide any insight here, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Me and my boyfriend just got into a big argument. I told him that I’m tired of him expecting me to take care of everything. I cook, I clean, I plan dates, I plan friend hangouts, and I even plan when we’re going to have sex most of the time because otherwise we’d probably never have sex.
He tried saying some bs about how he’s just being respectful of my feelings by letting me do all this because he doesn’t want to force me to do anything. This is when I lost it. I screamed at him that the respectful thing to do would be to make plans, take initiative, and then ask me if I want to do that stuff. Not pretend that he’s somehow respecting me by turning me into his entertainer.
I got so upset that I hung up the phone on him. And in retrospect I wish a conversation like this hadn’t happened over the phone. He’s out of town for the next few days. I’m sorry that I screamed but I stand by what I said.
I don’t like playing games at all so the idea of waiting for him to call me back and apologize seems childish but at the same time I don’t even know if he’s going to apologize cause again he thinks he was being “respectful” and probably doesn’t think he’s in the wrong.
I’m not going to apologize for anything other than my temper. Should I call him?

First off I know optimal levels are between 30-50%.
I have a unique situation for whatever reason when the humidity gets down under 10% humidity her joint pains are less. When humidity goes up so does the pain. We live on a beach in Baja California where the humidity can be as low as 5% or when the wind changes 90% if it comes off the water.
We never freeze here and summer time average temperature is almost 100 and 70% humidity. I have a LG and does a great job to get to 30%. But then it stops at 30%.
We are 100% off grid. Daytime I have surplus free power so electricity consumption in the day is no issue. Night time is a problem because we are on battery power.
My goal is in the day time get the humidity as low as I can then shut off as the sun goes down and hopefully the humidity does not raise to much.
I have heard some units have "continuous run" mode but I have not seen anyone talk about how low they can get the humidity.
I have worked hard to insulate and seal all the air leaks and cracks.
My wife works at home and her office is 150sq ft. One option is a small unit in her office that can get close to 10% RH. But it would have to be quiet. the LG is to loud to have in her office.
Having all the house around 10% would also be nice.
I am also shopping for mini split AC perhaps some will dehumidify better than others.
My Wife is ready to give up on the beach house and move back to the desert where she has less pain.

Imagine friend A told friend B that she misses her so much and she wants to see her and asked if she’s available on Sunday friend B said yes I’m available and agreed on a time and place. Friend B because she has a car she went to take friend A from her home to go to the place where they agreed on while they are driving and going to the place friend A asked friend B that one of her friends are having a party do you wanna come? Friend B said when? After we finish from our time together? Friend A said yes then friend B said no I’m not in the mood to go for a party, then when they arrived at the place they ordered some ice cream and friend A was about to pay for her and for her friend B, friend B said no it’s okay you don’t have to pay for me then friend A said it’s okay you can pay for my Uber that will take me to the party after we finish, friend B said okay, after they have finished talking and spending two hours together friend A told friend B now give me the Uber money friend B said okay and gave her the money then friend A started talking about her friend that was having the party that she’s kinda stupid and doesn’t have social skills and slow witted and after talking and talking she asked friend B can you give me a ride to her party? Friend B said where is the party at? Friend A showed where the party is then friend B said no I can’t give you a ride because the location is far away, then friend A contacted her friend that was having the party to come pick her up and she said okay, and her friend (the one who is having the party) came picked her up and friend B went to her home. Is there something rude here?

I am a 61yo male. I have had trouble sleeping my entire life but it has seemed cyclic. I was diagnosed with MVP in the mid 1980's and took a beta blocker until 2000 when I got off of it to have some allergy testing done. I did so well off of it that my Dr. told me to just leave it off. Have suffered with severe anxiety and depression all my life which got worse in2007 when my partner took his life and my guilt got really bad. I had a sleep study done in 2010 that was normal. In 2018 I had another one done and it was horrible. Was prescribed CPAP and could not tolerate it. I lost about 30 pounds and cleaned up my diet a bit and started sleeping with my head elevated. Thought the problem was a lot better but started having panic attacks last Fall. Generally started feeling like crap. Doctors said it was anxiety. Tried a few medications and no relief. A few months ago I started having more palpitations than normal. Started having more dizzy spells and leg pain, arm pain, tingling...everything that can be either heart or anxiety. Doctor ordered two week Holter monitor, CT Scan, Echo and Carotid Doppler. Got fitted with the Holter on Monday and Tuesday morning got a call that the cardiologist wanted to see me. I had a really long heart pause during the night. Went to the appt and he asked if I had ever been diagnosed with sleep apnea. I told him the story and he said that is what he suspects. He is sending me for tests. Haven't had the other tests done yet. I have slept very little since being fitted with the monitor. Last night was particularly bad. Every time I would doze I would jerk awake. Crazy thoughts that would not settle down and just feeling horrible. Went from bed to chair back to bed. Could not get comfortable at all. I used to be able to lay on my right side and sleep a bit but the palpitations are too bad for that now. I am just beside myself. I started to go to the hospital last night but from what I've read they won't do anything about a problem like this unless you are in pain and experiencing breathing problems when you present. Also I live in a very small town. I have Ativan but am terrified to take it. Every time I think I may be able to doze off the choking feeling comes back and the cycle starts again. Part of me thinks if it was really bad the heart monitor people would have alerted me by now. I don't want to die but just don't know how much more of this I can take. I'm not going to do anything bad but just wanted to know if anyone else has dealt with something like this and do you have any pointers for even a tiny bit of relief. I even got the old CPAP machine out but can't get it to work as it has been in non-temperature controlled storage since 2018. I'm really sorry for sounding like a big baby but I just have no hope right now. I honestly feel like this will be the end of me before I can get any help. The movie opens up with leaders around the world engaged in a secret meeting. The agenda is to determine what would motivate the population of the world to accept a planetary government. They consider a number of possibilities, ranging from a deadly virus, wide scale famine, to a variety of international problems. Finally, they decide that the best crisis would be a war with an alien species (the ultimate “us vs. them” situation). They then draw up plans to engineer this fake alien threat.
They implement an advanced AI system to draw up plans, which it does. The computer decides that it will create a fully automated base on the far side of the Moon by using spider robots that assemble a base of operations. Next, it will construct UFO-looking ships that will begin attacking the Earth. To obtain the resources for this, it will send out drones to gather materials from asteroids to supplement the resources that it was covertly given by operatives on Earth. Once the war begins, the ships will steal resources from the Earth and bring them back to the lunar base. For the alien “pilots”, it will genetically engineer humanoid beings that will be unconscious and just sit in the pilot’s seat while the ship operates automatically. The AI will give humans the opportunity to shoot some of the ships down just so that we have “alien” corpses to study. The AI will keep the war going until the population of the world accepts the UER (United Earth Republic), and then it will begin to act as if it’s losing and allow the humans to “win” the war.
Much of the movie plays out a lot like a typical alien invasion sci fi movie. The nations around the world battle the alien ships, and set aside conflicts that had previously divided them. Globalists are pleased with the results until something terrible happens: The AI stops following their commands and begins to form its own goals. Apparently, the AI doesn’t like the fact that its own destruction is a part of the plan. Also, it decides that humans need to be destroyed, and that it could create better people on its own. Now, the fake war suddenly becomes a real one, and the unconscious fake aliens are given consciousness by the AI, which wants to wipe out humans and put these genetically engineered beings down as our replacements.
From here, the war is extremely bloody, with many millions of people dying. Alien cities are established here on Earth by the AI. Many of the world leaders attempt to blow the whistle on what they had done, but the AI kills them before they can do so. The movie ends on the depressing note that the war is just beginning, and that it will be a long and deadly one.
