My older brother has left now, not that he ever cared or stepped in and my younger brother is too emotionally stupid to help.

My mom hasn't even been back for a day from surgery abroad, for weight gain (probably due to depression and insecurities encouraged by my dad). They are already screaming at eachother and chucking shit and my moms sobbing.
They are both in the wrong, have 0 communication, ability to say sorry and have 0 respect for eachother. yet they'll try give me relationship advice

What's going on?

A recent Reddit policy change threatens to kill many beloved third-party mobile apps, making a great many quality-of-life features not seen in the official mobile app permanently inaccessible to users.
On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on Reddit, from Apollo to Reddit is Fun to Narwhal to BaconReader.
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface .
This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.

What's the plan?

On June 12th, many subreddits will be going dark to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours: others will go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app. This isn't something any of us do lightly: we do what we do because we love Reddit, and we truly believe this change will make it impossible to keep doing what we love.
The two-day blackout isn't the goal, and it isn't the end. Should things reach the 14th with no sign of Reddit choosing to fix what they've broken, we'll use the community and buzz we've built between then and now as a tool for further action.
What can you do?

1. Complain. Message the mods of /reddit.com, who are the admins of the site: message reddit: submit a support request: comment in relevant threads on /reddit, such as this one, leave a negative review on their official iOS or Android app- and sign your username in support to this post.
   
2. Spread the word. Rabble-rouse on related subreddits. Meme it up, make it spicy. Bitch about it to your cat. Suggest anyone you know who moderates a subreddit join us at our sister sub at /ModCoord.
   
3. Boycott and spread the word...to Reddit's competition! Stay off Reddit entirely on June 12th through the 13th- instead, take to your favorite non-Reddit platform of choice and make some noise in support!
   
4. Don't be a jerk. As upsetting this may be, threats, profanity and vandalism will be worse than useless in getting people on our side. Please make every effort to be as restrained, polite, reasonable and law-abiding as possible.

I’ve been a lurker on this subreddit for a few months now. I haven’t really taken my restoration seriously, I’m like a CI-0 or maybe a CI-1. Im not here to dwell on the negatives of circumcision, I’m sure we are all aware of those; but is there anyone that is around this subreddit that started with a very low CI and has atleast flaccid coverage now? And if not, have you seen anyone on any website or blogs that have starting points like mine?
To be honest I just need some inspiration; It just feels a bit impossible for me still, a lot of the time I see people’s restoration here with really nice results, but I find info about their starting point and they already have a lot of inner skin or a loose cut. I’d like to see some pictures of a before and after if that’s possible. To be honest, I’m willing to do it for the long run, I’m lucky I’m in my early twenties hearing about this, so if I give it like 4-5 years I’ll still be in my twenties and I could have a pretty nice foreskin, right? The process of uncircumcision is slow, this I’m completely aware of, but I just want to make sure I’m not kidding myself. Like I said, I’m in it for the long run, but I’d just love to see someone in my position as well, and get to where I want to be.
I have hope, I’m choosing to remain positive about this, there’s no point in being negative when I’m still alive and can make a change. I mean, in 10 years I’ll be 32 and that’s still a prime for men (and women), I could be approaching the horizon of a dilf era with a complete foreskin.. right? Maybe I just want someone to reply to this and say that it’s possible for someone like me, and/or provide some references. This subreddit seems to be really good about providing support in this way. I’m adamant about taking back what’s mine. I’m not even mad at my parents, lack of knowledge doesn’t equate to lack of love, and it doesn’t mean their intent was to hurt me. If they knew they wouldn’t do it. But it’s my job to rewrite the story. I have all my limbs, and stranger things have happened… right?

And because of no broadcast, we offered the same sermon to our attending congregation; both sermons not being recorded because of the broadcast failure. So looking into a camera on my desk, I recorded this sermon for our archive.
Prayer & Ritual Sermon Notes

1. What is prayer? 1A. Superstitious Prayer 1A1. Asking for boons from god or gods by plea, persuasion or bargain. 1B. Gnostic Prayer 1B1. A means by which a sympathetic or psychic connection is made between the world around you or the Universe above, and without you, with the Universe within you. 1B2. Sympathetic Magick is the oldest form of Gnostic Prayer. 1B2a. Instead of identifying with the herd of buffalo, we are hunting the power to apprehend consciousness. 1B3. Gnostic Prayer is also ritual in much the same way oboriginals danced before a hunt.
   
2. Who or what does one pray to? 2A. If we, ourselves are gods, there can be no supernatural deity to pray to. 2A1. Gnostic prayer is not a pleding; but again, a sympathetic magick for the greater apprehension of consciousness.
   
3. Ritual is simply moving prayer–a moving of the soul in the performance of art. 3A. A dance, a play or dramatic ritual that is the expression of that connection between the self & the Universe. 3B. Ritual focuses the mind and body in a proactive demonstration of that connection; this in contrast with prayer that focuses the mind internally. 3B1. Internally, thinking, ruminating & daydreaming become forms of astral projection. 3B2. Images & symbols in theh mind, empower the mind to a greater depth & breadth of perception. These can be expressed internally or externally acted out in rites; called mystery plays.
   
4. A quality that belongs to both ritual & prayer is TRANCE. 4A. Trance isthe Bhakti aspect; the emotive connection that is called adoration & results in devotion. 4A1. It is love under will or the Universe speaking through the individual–a wonder. 4A2. It can manifest as an anthropomorphic or mythologica being that has the character of a Superman, or God or hero. 4B. Mythology is then the recorded prayer when expressed poetically, and a mystery play when acted out, as either a play or a ritual. 4B1. In modern culture, Clark Kent is Dionysis & Batman is Horus. 4B2. The story of personal transformation is played out; the effeminate nature of the alter ego & the god that is hidden behind the mask.
   
5. Re-enactments of myths become mystery plays & each generation tells these myths for itself. 20th Century superheroes have become as much our new mythology developing, as UFO’s & aliens have become the new angels. 5A. We draw our values and ideals form these. 5B. Our cultural paradigm creates itself through this and our culure becomes historic in the Heideggarian sense.
   
6. The story is always the same; a fractured consciousness to be made whole. And yet eacy generation in its uniqueness must re-tell the story in its own terms. 6A. Sophocles, Euripedes, Aeschyus & even Sartre re-told the story of Oedipus. 6A1. This they set to mystery plays. 6B. King Arthur–the king & the land are one & have their cycle of function & dysfunction. 6C. So many cultures have stories of a descent into the hell of psychic fracturing and the journey to restoration, resurrection and redemption.
   
7. So again, prayer & ritual serves for us as a sympathetic magick that brings us to a greater wholeness or wellness in order that we might perceive consciousness with a greater depth & breadth. We are opening ourselves to what we are to ‘BECOME’ and transforming ourselves from a fractured state to a wholeness of being.
   
8. This change into a wholesome state of constantly BECOMING is the ability to compose our lives. We are employing the formula of ‘love under will.’ 8A. This must necessarily result in the knowledge & conversation of the HGA. 8A1. The K&C of HGA is the state of consciousness by which we can see and fully apprehend our being as constantly BECOMING.

Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface .
This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.

What's the plan?

On June 12th, many subreddits will be going dark to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours: others will go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app. This isn't something any of us do lightly: we do what we do because we love Reddit, and we truly believe this change will make it impossible to keep doing what we love.
The two-day blackout isn't the goal, and it isn't the end. Should things reach the 14th with no sign of Reddit choosing to fix what they've broken, we'll use the community and buzz we've built between then and now as a tool for further action.
What can you do?

In season 4 joe basically becomes a billionaire and is revealed to the public to be alive and that he "escaped" love who was the killer all along. If Joe's deemed alive then I'm sure carey and sherry are aware of him being out there and I wonder if they'll have a Cameo or at least be mentioned.

I'm on the DASH diet, after high blood pressure at the doctor's office. I think I'm starting in a good rhythm, but I ALSO have anxiety, which is going to take a week or two to level out to my normal levels (I know my patterns, lol). So, could I get a sanity check on my use of the DASH diet?
Breakfast: 2/3rds cup quick oats, half an egg white (microwaved into the water, helps the oats feel bulkier), medium banana, 1 cup (8 oz) nonfat milk
Lunch: Salad. 4 cups spinach and spring mix, chopped mini pepper and carrot (about 1/4 cup), 1/8th cup cannelini beans (rinsed). Dressing made of 1/4th mashed avocado, 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar, and 1tsp olive oil.
Dinner: 4 oz baked salmon, 1 cup brocolli (tossed in about 1tsp olive oil and baked), 1 cup brown rice, medium sweet potato
Snacks: 1 apple, 1 cup blackberries, 1 cup milk
That's getting me 1421 calories, with 846 g sodium.
There's some variation, of course, but mostly in which fruit or veggie I eat. I think what's causing me anxiety is the idea of eating TOO MANY vegetables. Which partially feels absurd, but also, I have anxiety.
If this is good, praise would be lovely.

Ok this is a long story that lasts about 4 years, but I promise it’s a weird one and I’m going to leave out a bunch and try to tell the most important details to make it as short as possible. At the time I was 18 and had met a guy my freshman year of college, he was sweet, we got drunk and hooked up. Mind you I wasn’t the only girl this year he had slept with, he was with a lot of girls before we met and I even found out there was another one at the same time as me. We started hanging out more and it was fun, we became really close and had a fun friend group, then it came out he was in an “open” relationship with a girl in his home town still in high school. He told all of us he tried breaking up with her multiple times but she would threaten to harm herself if he ever did. They ended up actually breaking up towards the end of the school year and after that we continued to hang out, he and another friend even came to visit me that summer in my home town and meet my family. Then the next school year guess who decided to show up and go to college at the same university… the ex. He gets up one morning and says he has to do some errands, so I let him borrow my car so that I could continue laying in bed, about an hour later I get a notification he’s coming back with the ex and I needed to leave his bed(mind you he is in MY CAR). So I am pissed, they get back together we stop anything that was happening between us, I end up forgiving him overtime blah blah we hang out as friends time goes on. The ex always hated me because I was a girl and she didn’t want him to have any girl friends, she was horrible and toxic, and lost any friends she ever made and was always in drama… should have been a red flag I would think. Eventually one of the girls I know decided to tell her we had a thing our entire freshman year, and through the summer. She flips out says he has to drop all his friends blocks me on everything from his phone and I know nothing about what’s happening. She ends up texting me saying she has forced him to break contact with me for the time begging so they can heal their relationship. All I know is he has become my best friend and I had no one to surf with and do my normal routine with, it really hurt me and I was in a bad place for a while. This whole time she would message me saying I was a whore, had no morals, and spread countless rumors about me. After doing all this she then makes him stay home from all the Halloween parties, and wouldn’t let him see friends on his birthday which was right after, but he was too deeply in love at this point to notice anything. He lost all of his friends in the end anyway for how he played me and her in the situation. After his favorite time of year is over and she made it miserable for him she broke up with him in the morning and told him to never speak to her again. He then texts me, and asks to surf. I was still really angry at this point but I just missed my best friend and was in a really bad spot mentally so I agreed. This is when I found out they had broke up, and that’s the only reason he had wanted to hang out again. I was hurt because I had deeply fallen for him and he had lied and broken my heart multiple times, then to find out the only reason he was wanting to see me was being she broke up with him and he had no one. He is my kryptonite I can’t help it so we became close again, still not hooking up or anything just friends. She ends up texting him after and playing with him, having him come over to hook up convincing him they have a chance to get back together. One night she texts him saying she took a bunch of pills trying to OD, he runs over there worried she’s not ok and it ends up she took two migraine meds which is not an OD. They hooked up again that night and after she told everyone he took advantage of her because she was in an intoxicated state from too many pills… like what??? You took two migraine meds?? So at this point he is over it and at home all the time sad over this chick. Well she joined my sorority, and at a sisterhood event she walks up to me point blank and says “I heard you hit it raw I need to know if you have anything”. Like I’m sorry what??? Not the time or the place, not ok. Then she proceeds to yell at me for being horrible and tells the whole story of how they were never in an open relationship, they never broke up besides for about a week or two at the end of summer, and turns out he had been actually cheating on her with me the entire time, including over the summer when he had said they broke up. I was pissed, he lied the entire time, we didn’t talk for a few months because I never knew I had actually helped him truly cheat, but this gave him time to grow. It came out that the ex had slept with his best friend at home while he was at college anyway that year, the ex continued bad talking me to everyone, she then started sleeping around campus, and overall just exactly what I would expect from her. Eventually I forgave him, we became friends again, and he definitely starting growing for the better. At the beginning of the year he had let her borrow his mini fridge and coffee pot in the dorms so he texted her to say he needed them and asked if he could pick them up because she decided to leave after the semester, the only reason she came was to chase him, why would she stay. She ends up spraying whatever food she had all over the inside of the fridge, letting it sit and get all moldy and disgusting, then chucked it outside of her dorm and told him to come get it. Last I heard she moved home to her toxic family, and is doing nothing with her life as he was her entire life. I hate this girl with a burning passion, and she is a nut case for many instances I haven’t shared on here, but at the same time I feel for her and understand what it’s like to be cheated on… but she also cheated on him at the same time. Now almost two years later the guy has done a lot of self growth and has actually become an amazing person, he treats me well, and is very faithful after finding out what it feels to be heartbroken and betrayed by his best friend from when he slept with the ex. We are now together, and he really makes me happy, but I have this constant feeling over my head that I am a horrible person for ending up with him. The whole thing made me question everything about me, and I feel horrible for helping him cheat but I never knew I was, she was states away and he was a good liar. She made my life miserable for a year, and I never understood why she was so horrible to me until it all came out. So overall I’m just wondering, am I the asshole in this situation? Was it all my fault?

Meditation is one of, if not the most important tool in any spiritualist has at their disposal. Meditation is a great way to ground yourself, it's an amazing tool to relieve stress and anxiety but most importantly it connects us to the universe. Through meditation, or prayer as some people call it, we can learn to listen to the universe and hear what it's saying to us.
Actions based on love and universal direction never go wrong, so learning to meditate, is learning how to be at peace with yourself, your surroundings, and your personal universe.
In recent years there have been recent scientific studies on meditation and its effects On people. I encourage doubters to do their own research into it because what you find could change your perspective on meditation entirely.
I know a lot of you reading this are probably moaning and rolling your eyes at me just for the thoughts of meditation. And I can understand that, I used to do the same thing. Meditation can be difficult to begin but the outcome is worth the effort you put into it. I’ve heard all of the excuses, “I’m too busy”, “my brain’s too fast”, “I don’t have time”, “ My mind is too scary” blah blah blah. I used to say the same things and I used to believe the same way that I wasn’t able to meditate because my brain doesn’t stop and it doesn’t rest and it’s impossible for it to, but I’m here to say that it is possible and you can do it.
So let’s begin, to start there is no wrong way to meditate. You can sit on the floor, sit on a chair, lay in bed, you can keep your eyes open or close them, whatever makes you comfortable. Do you have a hard time sitting still? Then maybe it would be easier if you considered yoga or Tai chi, both of which have been compared to meditation in motion. So go find your little niche, get comfortable and most importantly believe that you can.
To beginners just starting out, I always give the same advice. If you follow my 7 simple steps for 30 days then you will be able to meditate and improve your life in small ways. If you continue meditating after the 30 days and continue trying to better yourself and grow, the limits of what meditation can do for you are endless.
Step 1: Buy a journal or notebook. Always be journaling, and dedicate one journal specifically to meditating. This way you always have a record to look back on to see how things have changed.
Step 2: your first journal entry. To start write about yourself, your goals, your likes, what you wish to improve about yourself and what your goals for meditation are, or what your expectations are. At the end of this I always recommend that you write a loving note to your future self.
Step 3: Time and location. Try to roughly choose the same time every day to meditate, this will train your brain into making it more of a habit and be easier to achieve your trance state. Also choose a location where you feel safe and comfortable, and also where you can be uninterrupted during the process.
Step 4: length of time. For the first few days set a timer for 10 minutes and try to last the full 10. If not that’s OK aim to do a minute longer than you did the day before. Once 10 minutes is easy try 15, then try 20, 30, and so forth until you no longer need a timer and you just meditate.
Step 5: get comfortable. Get into whatever position you feel is most comfortable try to make sure your spine is straight, or as straight as possible, and just relax. Allow that tension that’s in your body too drain into the floor. Feel the stress dissolve from your mind down your shoulders down through your spine, through your legs and out into the floor. Back into the earth.
Step 6: begin. Once you’re comfortable and decided on music or no music, silence any and all interruptions and get ready. Start by simply counting slowly backwards from 100. You will lose count and that is fine, either shift focus to your breathing or start over back at 100. Random thoughts will also appear, and this is also fine, it will happen. Don’t dwell on them, just release them and focus back on your counting or breathing. Over time you won’t need to count or focus on your breathing to stay empty minded or calm and when you achieve that, that is considered a trance state.
Step 7: journal. After your meditation write down any and all experiences you might have had during it, and what you think it could mean. Write down how long you meditated for write down if you feel happy or calm or whatever comes into your mind that you feel like you should write down after your meditation and write it down. I swear by journaling for every occasion so write, and keep on writing.
And then you just repeat the process every day and you keep going every day. But after hearing the seven steps I’m sure you’re wondering why is this so important, well I’m gonna tell you. Simply put meditation is sleeping for the brain. You see, when you go to sleep every night your brain doesn’t stop working. It still pumps your blood it still makes you breathe. It creates your dreams. It doesn’t stop working, so meditation gives the brain the much needed rest it needs. You see, the universe only speaks to you in the quiet and stillness within, so without meditation, without ever giving your brain a rest, and you'll never know what the universe truly wants with you.
On a side note: as with everything spiritual / holistic, if you don’t go into this with an open mind it won’t help you much. If you go into meditation thinking that it’s stupid or that it will never work, then stupid it will remain and work, it never will.

I work at a small restaurant - at max we normally seat around 40-50 people on what we consider a busy night. I’m a waiter at this place, but because we’re so small, everyone on staff kind of helps out with my tables when they can (delivering drinks, running food, overall checkin, bussing). Also our bar is super small, seating only 4-5 people at a time, so our “bartender” rarely has people sitting there.
I’ll explain how our current tip system works. Best example I can give is from last night where we had 2 waiters, the bartender, a busser, and BOH. The tips that the customers leave the waiters are pooled together, as well as whatever tips the bar made. That gets added up, and 20% gets taken out for BOH. How that’s split up is not really up to me. Then, the tips are split 3 ways between the waiters and the bartender, and then we each give an equal amount from there to the busser. However, I just don’t think this is fair.
My tables last night LOVED me. I averaged around 27% overall tips. The total pooled tips for the night was around $420. Off of my tables, I brought in $220. I went home with $92. I feel like I’m being scammed lol. I would love any suggestions on a better tip-out system that I could bring up with my boss.

I'm preparing now for MBA 2024. I graduated three years ago (CGPA 9 & GMAT 750). My program was BA Film. I made many short films, worked as a editor too. I've done advertisements & many such projects. Nothing too big yet. I am not from the USA, so talking about the cinema of my country. As much as I enjoy making films, I want to target top financial positions in the film industry & work for a big movie studio in that department. In the process I realised I really love the financing/business side of the film industry. I want to do an MBA. I don't want to apply to all M7/top business schools in the USA. So I have shortlisted these 4 schools and will eventually apply to 2 maybe.

What's going on?

A recent Reddit policy change threatens to kill many beloved third-party mobile apps, making a great many quality-of-life features not seen in the official mobile app permanently inaccessible to users.
On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on Reddit, from Apollo to Reddit is Fun to Narwhal to BaconReader.
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface .
This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.

What's the plan?

On June 12th, many subreddits will be going dark to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours: others will go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app. This isn't something any of us do lightly: we do what we do because we love Reddit, and we truly believe this change will make it impossible to keep doing what we love.
The two-day blackout isn't the goal, and it isn't the end. Should things reach the 14th with no sign of Reddit choosing to fix what they've broken, we'll use the community and buzz we've built between then and now as a tool for further action.
What can you do?

1. Complain. Message the mods of /reddit.com, who are the admins of the site: message reddit: submit a support request: comment in relevant threads on /reddit, such as this one, leave a negative review on their official iOS or Android app- and sign your username in support to this post.
   
2. Spread the word. Rabble-rouse on related subreddits. Meme it up, make it spicy. Bitch about it to your cat. Suggest anyone you know who moderates a subreddit join us at our sister sub at /ModCoord.
   
3. Boycott and spread the word...to Reddit's competition! Stay off Reddit entirely on June 12th through the 13th- instead, take to your favorite non-Reddit platform of choice and make some noise in support!
   
4. Don't be a jerk. As upsetting this may be, threats, profanity and vandalism will be worse than useless in getting people on our side. Please make every effort to be as restrained, polite, reasonable and law-abiding as possible.

1. i am the only SLP in the SNF (which i know, not uncommon) but i frequently feel lost and genuinely feel like i don’t know what i’m doing. i feel like i need more support for my first professional experience.
   
2. my boss keeps getting on me about my low productivity. which is confusing, because he always encourages screens, which don’t always turn into evals, and screens don’t count towards my productivity. then he gets annoyed when i don’t pick people up because i tell him they’re not appropriate. he is saying i am effecting the numbers and making him look bad. he’s a COTA, by the way.
   
3. i have tried leaving early when i’m done for the day so my productivity doesn’t tank. i then get “talked” to for leaving early (1:30,2 pm). i’m sorry sir, so do you want low productivity? i’m confused? what am i supposed to do?
   
4. i don’t want to feel constant pressure to “build my caseload” as a CF. i’m being pressure to pick up part B’s and “think outside the box.”
   
5. i love the geriatric population, but as an SLP in a SNF, it’s absolutely draining me.
   
6. i want experience in a different setting as i’m still new and want to try something else before i completely throw my education down the drain and don’t finish my CF.
   
7. i feel like PT and OT are the main characters, speech is often forgotten or misunderstood. no one knows what i do or seems to care. i feel left out of staff meetings and pts often only want to “walk” and “balance” themselves. i don’t want to feel like a burden on a 102 year old lady, honestly.
   
8. crappy benefits, unstable hours, fluctuating paychecks. caring about the metrics more than patient care.
   

realizing the SNF life is just not for me!

Howdy everybody,
My mom died on Thanksgiving of 2022 so it's been about 7 months since shes benen gone.
I have a question: has anybody developed a sort of pessimistic would view since losing their parent or close loved one? I find myself feeling like my time is super limited (I've always been like that but now it's ramped up a ton) and asking God/the universe whoever, "what's the point of all this?" Just to work and suffer and retire then die like a year after retiring or be too old and sick to live life at that point. I just feel like...trouble finding where the good comes in that makes this all worth it. Please note I'm not feeling suicidal or anything, I know it can sound like that reading this.
I feel like I'm just existing and not really living I guess and I'm not sure why we are here to just exist and then die.
I was adopted when I was 4 by my mother. She never was married and she gave me such a good life and a loving family and I never took that for granted. I found out right before she died about my biological family and they were all on drugs with mental health problems. So I think like wow...she saved me from that.
I don't have siblings that I grew up with either. Our family is very small. I don't have children of my own. So I often feel confused as to the point of any of this. Maybe just as it pertains to me I guess. Her purpose perhaps was to save me.
So why am I here?? This might be a post for a philosophy thread.
TLDR: Im having trouble identifying what the point of any of this is after losing my mom 7 months ago. Anyone feel similarly?

Ive been lukewarm for ages and more than a month ago I want to give it all in to Jesus. And He revealed to me that He is not in the center of my 6 yr relationship and I agreed. There was no God in me at that time and it was my fault for not mentioning God in that relationship. So when God gave me a sign, he gave me a courage to break up with Him. I felt peace after.. but got emotionally wrecked later on asking did I made the right decision? Like having doubts.
This guy is like the man any girls could asked for. He has everything but there was so God in him. He knows God. He believes in God and raised to a bible school in England. But I did not see him pray, read the bible, go to church throughout the relationship. I mean I also werent reading the bible and everything.
We are long distance, visiting each other whenever we can and plan to move in together when its the right time! So covid events happened and he dont want to get vaccinated and that means he can’t come to USA as all travelers needed to be vaccinated to enter. So i can only visit him in his country even tho im unvaccinated.
So as you can guess i broke up with him over the phone.. it cruel.. but he couldn’t believe we are broken up. So he tried to go doctors and doctors to get an authorization to come here. They (4 doctors) kept rejecting it even tho he was going to pay them some money. So he felt hopeless… He walked down alone by the beach and sat and pray to God. “Lord, if we are meant to be, you’ll get me a doctor to authorize me to come to my girl”
Next day, he went to another doctor and the doctor grant him in seconds. He’s like what? Thats quick.. so yea he came back to my country finally.. and wanted me back. I could see his efforts that he wanted me back and this guy loves me so. I began telling him my journey with God and he’s listening. I began to pray, read bible with him and I see him willing and listening as I share God with him. So i said ill give you a chance… but after he left, weeks later, i broke up with Him again because i was leaning on the sign that God gave me. He came back again and said “i know you’ve hurt me so much but i have a feeling like something tells me to get you back” im heartbroken to see him hurting. So i said ok, ill give us a chance and im tired of hurting him and dont want to hurt him no more. I love him so much so Imma just give him to God. Im like “God, if whatever im doing is wrong, redirect me to the right path. If we are not meant to be together, remove him from my life. But if we are meant to be, may you guide us and may you be the center of our relationship and may you guide us to overcome the distance between us and grant us to live near each other soon. And i pray that you will come to his heart and show your love to him.”
