Fallout 5 will take place in the Dixie Wasteland, in the ruins of Charleston, South Carolina in 2322. It will be the first fallout to take place in the South. The only nuke to hit the region was a defective US nuke that detonated as soon as it was launched.
Character Building:
You start with 35 special points, making it so you have a more specialized build or a jack of all trades. The old skill system makes a return, with you choosing a perk every 3 level ups. Skill checks are frequent, and can vary from Special stats to perks. You get to choose a special perk when you start the story, like Small Frame or Kamikaze. Karma has three tiers: Evil, Neutral, and Good.
Mutations and Radiation: Mutations will occur like in 76, but you can become a super mutant if you dip yourself in a vat of FEV. Your strength and endurance will increase dramatically, but many factions and cities won’t let you in without a huge hassle. Radiation makes you mutate more, but if your mutation level is too high you will turn into a mindless Behemoth. Too much radiation will turn you into a ghoul, which makes you immune to radiation and raises your endurance. If you get too many rads while ghoulified, you become feral.
Weapons & V.A.T.S:
Makeshift weapons are far more prevalent in this game, but they are more diverse and realistic than those in Fallout 4. Normal weapons are more powerful and rarer, selling for more at stores. More real guns will be added alongside the retro-futuristic fallout guns, including the 9 round and 1 shotgun shell LeMat revolver. Weapon customization exists alongside a wider variety than of weapons. Dual wielding makes its first entry to the series, allowing for dual wielding of small melee weapons, pistols, and smgs.
Higher Agility levels makes dual wielding more accurate. V.A.T.S will return to freezing the game instead of the slowed down time in Fallout 4
Settlements:
There will be 3 buildable settlement locations that you discover on your own, and 5 customizable player home locations.
World: The Dixie Wasteland is a mix of civilized and Wild. The Western section of the map is the most dangerous, full of raiders and animals, despite that the town of Magnolia is in the west. The Northeast is the city of Charleston, the city of Civitas Ferro is set up within eastern Charleston. The South of the map is controlled by the Brotherhood of Steel as well. The middle of the map is a bunch of small towns mixed with the wildness of the west. The eastern side of the map is swamps, and the west is forested hills. A large lifeless crater exists in the in the middle of the map, simply known as the Hole.
Enemies: Some animals return, such as bloodbugs, deathclaws, ferals, bloatflies, and Yao Guais, Mirelurks, and Gatorclaws. New animals include Raddlesnakes, Giraffe Dogs (coyotes with long necks), Snappers (huge turtles), and Prowlers (mutated bobcats). Raiders are in named groups again, with three main bands terrorizing Dixie. The tribe known as the Confederates who enslave and sell rather than pillage, the Beastmasters who tame mutated animals and attack with them, and the Vaulties who were former vault dwellers. Generic raiders can also be found. Super Mutant bands have moved south from the Capital Wasteland, and continue their sackings in Dixie. Enemy robots are occasionally found, especially from the RobCo factory in the city. The last kind of enemy is the main factions if you piss them off, as they send death squads out to gank you if you have a bad reputation.

Magnolia Radio - Swing and Jazz hosted by a charismatic ghoul named Darren Dixie. Darren will comment on the events that occur throughout the wasteland.
Hoedown Capital - A country and bluegrass station hosted by Mr. Hillbilly, a DJ Mr.
Handy. He still believes the year is 2077, and only tells news relating to events that happened leading up to the Great War.
Brotherhood Military Channel - Updates troops about tech locations and orders patrols around.
There are plenty of side quests and random events, including side quests for each faction.

Not only do they seize military technology now, they also seize stuff like pre-war small arms, Auto-docs, pip-boys, robots, terminals etc. They’ve ruled over Atlanta for the past 2 years with an iron fist, forcing settlers into giving up their crops and crippling the wasteland and infrastructure of the Dixie Wasteland. They control a large city inside Atlanta called Civitas Ferro, with their headquarters in the center. Despite your hatred for them initially, you can join them and defeat all the rebels.
Carolinian Revolutionary Army- The Carolinians are the remnants of the former largest nation in the Dixie Wasteland called the Free Federation of Charleston. It was a democratic civilization based on the old state of South Carolina, with elections and rights for any human or quasi-human. Although it was weak and corrupt, it was better than the alternatives. When the Brotherhood rolled in, the Carolinians resisted their raids, so the Brotherhood overthrew them in a scorched Earth campaign. The Carolinians are the remnants of their military, dedicated to rebelling against the Brotherhood’s tyranny, and have the endgame goal of bringing Democracy back to Dixie. They grow steadily by the day, but they suffer from bureaucratic issues and corruption. You can join the Carolinians as an agent, and you help them lead a rebellion against the Brotherhood.
Greylock’s Hand: Greylock’s Hand are a band of violent raiders and mercenaries, who likewise want the Brotherhood of Steel gone, but instead desire an anarchic survival of the fittest wasteland. They are lead by a profane, wild ghoul named Greylock. They are basically terrorists, but their raids and ambushes against the Brotherhood are effective. They reside in a secret underground missile launch site, completed two days before the war. Even the Brotherhood knows nothing about it aside from rumors. The missiles, however, are not finished. You can join Greylocks Hand after getting kidnapped by them, and after you help them build part of the missiles.
Magnolia: The last joinable faction is Magnolia, a large settlement in and around the former plantation home. The city is ruled by a group of Mister Handys who escaped from a crashed truck driving to Charleston the day of the Great War. They saw the magnolia plantation and went their to clean, doing so and repairing it for 150 years, eventually realizing what was happening in the world around them.Their newfound “sentience” allowed them to create a settlement, inviting wastelanders and tribals to live and trade under their protection. Their elected leader is a specialized Mr Handy that has economic programming. The robots have defended themselves from several Brotherhood attacks, and after some convincing they allow you to become an honorary robot and join their faction.
Tribal: Instead of choosing any of the four main factions, you can instead unite the smaller settlements, tribes, and factions into New Dixie. You are assisted by an intelligent Supermutant from the Capital Wasteland named Spider, acting as your loyal second in command.
Minor factions:
The Network: A secret underground trading organization that sells and trades equipment that would normally be confiscated by the BoS. You can rat them out to the BoS, or you can join them.
Wasteland Marshalls: A paramilitary organization that patrols highways and hunts raiders, based on the US Marshals of the past. You can join them or convince them to join the brotherhood.
Catawbas: The descendants of the old native tribe from South Carolina, they specialize in the creation of makeshift weaponry to sell to wastelanders. You can convince them to join the rebellion, or you can convince them to join the Brotherhood.
Abolitionists: A militia of borderline terroristic anti-slavers, based on the conquests of the radical abolitionist John Brown. You can join them or eliminate them.
Plot:
South Carolina: 2322. War, war never changes.
The main character is a tribal living southeast of Charleston. The tribe has to pay a toll to local raiders, and it’s left their tribe starving. In the first part of the game, the Tribal, their sibling and their friend are searching for food for their tribe, when they stumble across an old sunken West-Tek storage depot. In it is a prototype suit of power armor called the AX-01, which is a large tank-suit with back missiles and two hand laser rifles, built for ease of use. You learn how to pilot it from a terminal, and you take it back to the tribe; the raiders and their leader are there demanding their payment. You kill the raiders with the power armor, and the tribe is free from their subjugation. Weeks later, 4 Brotherhood of Steel paladins arrive at the village. After the tribals refuse to give up their power armor, the BoS execute everyone in the village and burn it to the ground (including your sibling), seizing the suit and flying away on a vertibird. Only the Tribal remains.
Act 1: The Tribal picks up a broken pip-boy as soon as they leave the town, and they hunt down the paladins North to Charleston, you kill all 4 of them while adventuring across the map. By the end of the first act, the Brotherhood declares you an enemy of the Brotherhood.
Act 2: Due to the deaths of several Paladins and the constant rebellion from the region, a Brotherhood blimp appears. The brotherhood frequency states that if the Tribal visits the ship, they will be absolved of their crimes. The Tribal is also invited to secret meeting of between Carolinians and robots from Magnolia. You also get kidnapped by the Greylocks 2 days after this meeting. From there you can choose between the rebels or the Brotherhood, and do their specific quest lines. For the Greylocks, you have to find parts to build their rockets. Whereas for the other groups you have to find a way into their base.
Act 3: All questlines end in the ultimate battle and raid on the Greylock base. If you side with the Greylocks you repel the attackers. The end of the story is where you fire the missile array at the Brotherhood’s home base and their airship, chasing them out of Dixie. If you side with the Brotherhood you secure the missile array and fire the rockets at the fleeing rebels, crushing their numbers.
Each ending depends on your karma and what side you chose, potentially turning a “good” faction evil or an “evil” faction good.
Your actions have consequences throughout the story, and no character is essential except for potential companions.
The Tribal:
The tribal is the name of the 28 year old protagonist, and you can choose between you or your friend to be your character. One is male, the other is female. The protagonist is silent, but the character you don’t choose has voiced dialogue. Their default names are Sammy and Cora, but you can change them. Speech is back to the chart with full responses. Their personality is determined by the player, allowing for better roleplaying opportunities.
Companions:
There are 10 companions, 3 non human and 7 human. The affinity system returns, and each companion has a personal quest. They also have comments for the main quest and other miscellaneous events. Companions have specific likes and dislikes, and have different karmas. You can recruit companions outside of your karma if you pass a speech check. Any positive affinity progression while not in their karma has a 1.25 multiplier. Companions are romanceable regardless of gender.
The Tribals Friend (Sammy/Cora):
The friend you don’t choose is available to become your companion. They know your name, and revert to their original appearance and name once you choose your character. Cora is originally white with blonde hair and blue eyes, and Sammy is originally a latino with curly black hair. have good karma, and hates the BoS, but are okay with the other factions. They are 28 years old, the same age as the tribal. They wear a tribal cloak and uses a makeshift bolt action rifle. They are Romanceable.
Benjamina Pavlova - A hired gun and part time technician working for the Network, you can recruit her whenever you hire her at the Network. She has good karma, and hates the BoS and the Carolinians, but likes Greylocks hand and the Magnolia Robots (hired guns were illegal in the FFC). She is white, and has curly black hair and green eyes. She is 29 years old. She wears a confederate cavalry hat and her combat armor with road leathers, she uses a .44 trail carbine. She is romanceable.
Captain Baker Springfield - A soldier for the Carolinian Revolutionary Army, you can recruit him if you save his platoon from a super mutant attack. He has good karma, and hates the BoS and Greylock’s hand, but loves the Carolinians. He is 32 years old. He is white, has brown hair and stubble, and wears a Carolinian soldier outfit; he uses a .308 Combat rifle.
Dina Qian A vault dweller from Vault 52, you have to free the vault from a band of raiders who have cracked into the vault to recruit her. Dina is asian and has black hair in a ponytail. She has neutral karma, and hates all raider groups, including Greylock’s Hand, she is indifferent to the other groups. Dina is 25 years old. She uses two 10mm pistols and wears an armored vault suit. She is Romanceable.
Louie - Louie is a ranch hand at a farm outside of the Hole, you can recruit him if you get his family’s brahmin back from the Beastmasters. He has neutral karma, and hates Greylock’s hand, but likes The BoS due to their law bringing policies. He is 36 years Louie is white, and has a buzzcut with a mustache. He wears a ranch hand outfit and a stetson hat with leather armor, he uses a makeshift pump action shotgun.
General Ulysses Grant: A securitron made specially for the RobCo factory owner, a civil war buff. You have to repair him after clearing the RobCo factory to recruit him. His karma is dependent on how you program him, and he hates the brotherhood but loves the magnolia robots. He is a deep blue and gold securitron with General grant on the tv screen. He is a pre-war robot. He uses the 9mm smg, laser rifle, and rockets depending on what you tell him to use. He is not romanceable.
Uriah Lincoln - A respected raider within Greylock’s hand, you can recruit him whenever you join Greylock’s hand. He has evil karma, loves Greylock’s hand, and hates the Brotherhood and the Carolinians. You can change his karma in his personal quest. Uriah is 23 years old. He is black and is bald, with a bandana covering on of his eyes. He wears Greylock makeshift power armor and carries a plasma rifle. He is romanceable
Senior Scribe Weatherby - A former scribe turned ghoul by radiation, you can recruit her from the BoS after she is kicked out. She has evil karma, hates the BoS and the other factions. After her personal quest she can either rejoin the brotherhood or be open to other factions. She is 39 years old. She is a ghoul and has wears red hair wig. She wears a scribe outfit and uses a laser rifle. She is romanceable.
Belle - A Mrs Nanny built by the robots at Magnolia, you can recruit her after joining the Magnolia robots. She has neutral karma, and likes Greylock’s Hand and the Magnetic robots. Belle is 60 years old. She wears a straw hat with a flower on it, and has a light purple chassis; she uses a minigun and a sawblade. She is not romanceable.
Hambone - A golden retriever with one blue eye and one brown eye. He doesn’t care about what you do, he’s a good boy. You can have him alongside any other companion.

The protagonist is silent, but the character you don’t choose has voiced dialogue. Their default names are Sammy and Cora, but you can change them. Speech is back to the chart with full responses. Their personality is determined by the player, allowing for better roleplaying opportunities.
Companions:
There are 10 companions, 3 non human and 7 human. The affinity system returns, and each companion has a personal quest. They also have comments for the main quest and other miscellaneous events. Companions have specific likes and dislikes, and have different karmas. You can recruit companions outside of your karma if you pass a speech check. Any positive affinity progression while not in their karma has a 1.25 multiplier. Companions are romanceable regardless of gender.
The Tribals Friend (Sammy/Cora):
The friend you don’t choose is available to become your companion. They know your name, and revert to their original appearance and name once you choose your character. Cora is originally white with blonde hair and blue eyes, and Sammy is originally a latino with curly black hair. have good karma, and hates the BoS, but are okay with the other factions. They are 28 years old, the same age as the tribal. They wear a tribal cloak and uses a makeshift bolt action rifle. They are Romanceable.
Benjamina Pavlova - A hired gun and part time technician working for the Network, you can recruit her whenever you hire her at the Network. She has good karma, and hates the BoS and the Carolinians, but likes Greylocks hand and the Magnolia Robots (hired guns were illegal in the FFC). She is white, and has curly black hair and green eyes. She is 29 years old. She wears a confederate cavalry hat and her combat armor with road leathers, she uses a .44 trail carbine. She is romanceable.
Captain Baker Springfield - A soldier for the Carolinian Revolutionary Army, you can recruit him if you save his platoon from a super mutant attack. He has good karma, and hates the BoS and Greylock’s hand, but loves the Carolinians. He is 32 years old. He is white, has brown hair and stubble, and wears a Carolinian soldier outfit; he uses a .308 Combat rifle.
Dina Qian A vault dweller from Vault 52, you have to free the vault from a band of raiders who have cracked into the vault to recruit her. Dina is asian and has black hair in a ponytail. She has neutral karma, and hates all raider groups, including Greylock’s Hand, she is indifferent to the other groups. Dina is 25 years old. She uses two 10mm pistols and wears an armored vault suit. She is Romanceable.
Louie - Louie is a ranch hand at a farm outside of the Hole, you can recruit him if you get his family’s brahmin back from the Beastmasters. He has neutral karma, and hates Greylock’s hand, but likes The BoS due to their law bringing policies. He is 36 years Louie is white, and has a buzzcut with a mustache. He wears a ranch hand outfit and a stetson hat with leather armor, he uses a makeshift pump action shotgun.
General Ulysses Grant: A securitron made specially for the RobCo factory owner, a civil war buff. You have to repair him after clearing the RobCo factory to recruit him. His karma is dependent on how you program him, and he hates the brotherhood but loves the magnolia robots. He is a deep blue and gold securitron with General grant on the tv screen. He is a pre-war robot. He uses the 9mm smg, laser rifle, and rockets depending on what you tell him to use. He is not romanceable.
Uriah Lincoln - A respected raider within Greylock’s hand, you can recruit him whenever you join Greylock’s hand. He has evil karma, loves Greylock’s hand, and hates the Brotherhood and the Carolinians. You can change his karma in his personal quest. Uriah is 23 years old. He is black and is bald, with a bandana covering on of his eyes. He wears Greylock makeshift power armor and carries a plasma rifle. He is romanceable
Senior Scribe Weatherby - A former scribe turned ghoul by radiation, you can recruit her from the BoS after she is kicked out. She has evil karma, hates the BoS and the other factions. After her personal quest she can either rejoin the brotherhood or be open to other factions. She is 39 years old. She is a ghoul and has wears red hair wig. She wears a scribe outfit and uses a laser rifle. She is romanceable.
Belle - A Mrs Nanny built by the robots at Magnolia, you can recruit her after joining the Magnolia robots. She has neutral karma, and likes Greylock’s Hand and the Magnetic robots. Belle is 60 years old. She wears a straw hat with a flower on it, and has a light purple chassis; she uses a minigun and a sawblade. She is not romanceable.
Hambone - A golden retriever with one blue eye and one brown eye. He doesn’t care about what you do, he’s a good boy. You can have him alongside any other companion.

I am 24F and bipolar. I’ve been diagnosed three years ago, it’s been rough but I’m on meds and try to have a routine. I have very sharp mood swings throughout the day and I always feel ‘too much’.
I’ve been together with my bf(24M) for almost 2 years now. He has ADHD and derealization. We actually clicked because we were both struggling with the concept of reality since I’ve been having hallucinations that time. We help each other out. When we started dating, I wasn’t that bad with mood swings but throughout the year I got worse. He is so helpful, so nice and so understanding. He manages everything so well. But he says I usually confuse him because my mood changes so drastically and he doesn’t know what to do sometimes. I got sad over this and he said ‘It’s okay, u know I love challenges. Maintaining u is challenging but fun. I love to help’. He was so nice again. But what if one day he’ll say ‘It’s too much’ and leave? For example a few nights ago I asked him ‘What is a question u would like me to ask u frequently?’. He said ‘I would like it if u sometimes asked -would u like me to leave u alone?-. Bcuz sometimes I’m busy but I don’t want u to feel lonely or neglected so I make time for u but it prevents me from working since concentrating is hard for me’. I am gonna work on this.
I am in a phase where I don’t really know myself if that makes sense. I can’t tell when I feel or think something if it’s bipolar or me genuinely. It’s hard as I don’t remember past very well. I don’t know who I was and I don’t know who I am. Sometimes it’s too much so I just go walk around for a few hours and he gets worried. I tell him where I am and when will I go home but he still feels uncomfortable.
We have a healthy relationship, we never fight or hurt each other, we are best friends. I want to marry this guy, I want to be the best version of myself for him. We work in the same industry(game) and we have lots of fun.
So my question is how can I help him and my relationship in general? Do u have any tips? And if u also have ADHD, what would u like ur partner to do about that?

Basically, I met a dad recently whose children both have significant neurodevelopmental differences, like autism. There was a comment on the post about S04 E12: Lost and Bound about Piper’s arc in this episode that was written by (u/queeeeeni) that I wanted to expand on, because I knew I wasn’t the only one confused as to why Piper never considered binding Wyatt’s various active powers when he was a baby, ESPECIALLY after she saw how difficult and dangerous it was for Tyler, who was what, 12 years old, to control his powers?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that she shouldn’t have taught him about magic or waited until he was an adult to unbind his powers, but what I am saying is that there should have been some type of earning system, similar to how the the sister’s powers advanced. If I’m not mistaken, power advancements/expansions only occur when a witch is ready to handle them. I thought it worked like training a mystical muscle, the more proficient you get with the craft and your powers, the stronger your mystical muscle gets, ergo the more power advancements/expansions you earn.
But Wyatt was in the womb with several active powers and when he was born, even more! Last time I checked, baby Wyatt wasn’t even old enough to comprehend what being a witch meant, let alone mature enough to practice the craft with a proficiency that would have his powers grow as fast as they did. And even if you were to argue that Prue, Piper, and Phoebe had their active powers as children (S01 E17: That '70s Episode) they each had ONE active power, not multiples and even then, the strength of their powers matched how young they were.
And yes I know they explain the reasoning behind Wyatt being so powerful is because he is the first born child from the most powerful Charmed One as well as being part Whitelighter which gives him the twice blessed status. HOWEVER, even with that being the case, it was STILL the responsibility of the Charmed Ones to recognize the danger of ONE child having unfiltered access to power that is canonically EQUAL to that of the freaking Charmed Ones!
And let’s not forget that while the Charmed Ones have done some great things, they’ve made mistakes with their incredible power, NAMELY using that power to aid the Avatar’s in changing the entire freaking world to create utopia and essentially eliminate free will (S07 E12: Extreme Makeover: World Edition).
So what possessed them to think that a LITERAL child could handle the responsibility of immense power that THREE FREAKING ADULTS have struggled to handle responsibly. To me, choosing not to bind Wyatt’s powers was one of, if not THE most irresponsible and careless thing that Piper, Paige, and Phoebe have done. And if you don’t think I’m exaggerating, I’ll point you to none other than S06 E03: Forget Me… Not.
He conjured a dragon, y’all. A FREAKING FIRE-BREATHING DRAGON?! The amount of innocents he could have inadvertently gotten killed if the Charmed Ones hadn’t gotten there in time?! Not to mention the fact that he didn’t just return the dragon back from where he conjured it. No, HE BLEW IT UP! Something even Piper couldn’t do!!! A FREAKING TODDLER HAS THE POWER TO BLOW UP SOMETHING AS MASSIVE AS A FREAKING DRAGON?!!!?
COME THE FREAK ON!?!
But pivoting back to my original point, it’s also canon that the collective magic of the Charmed Ones is strong enough to FULLY bind Wyatt’s powers (S06 E12: Prince Charmed) so why couldn’t they use that same magic to PARTIALLY bind his powers until he was ready to handle them responsibly.
I think the only power that Wyatt should have been allowed access to as a baby up until he was an teenager should have been his orb shield. Because even though he shouldn’t be vanquishing demons (leave that to the adults), he still needs a way to protect himself when a demon attacks at home (which we all know they love to do). And they should have made it so that he couldn’t actively control his orb shield until he’s old enough to comprehend it’s only supposed to be used for emergencies. Until that point, they should have made it so that it could ONLY activate when he was in situations where his livelihood was in danger.
The spell they could use to do that could go something like, “When his safety’s at risk and there is no chance of fleeing, give Wyatt his orb shield to protect his well being. And because he’s only a little boy, keep him from using this power as a toy.”
Of course he would still have his basic witch powers so Piper and the other sisters could still show him the way, teaching him about potions and spell casting, but all his other active powers, should have ONE HUNDRED PERCENT been bound. For example, they could have used a spell like, “With the strength and power of us witches three, we limit Wyatt’s magical abilities. Until he retains the lessons we teach, bind his active powers from his reach.”
Then, when he was fifteen, I would say he should only be given conscious control of his orb shield. Sixteen, he gets his ability to orb. Seventeen, he gets access to his telekinesis/telekinetic orbing, and when he turns eighteen allow all his other active powers to develop and expand naturally from that point on.

So my last SU run was supposed to be for fun, and I tried the Nihility path because why the hell not although I don’t use Sampo, Serval or Hook. I heard that SW was very good with it though so I took her. My team for World 3 was Jing Yuan, Silver Wolf, Sushang and Bailu
This might have been the easiest SU run I’ve ever done honestly. I usually gravitate towards the hunt and have dipped my toes in all the other paths and always find myself having to wait hours for boss fights to end, but I suddenly am extremely hyped about doing runs again. Gepard’s health vanished 50% at a time every time he moved and I even managed to skip the 2nd phase shield altogether even though I didn’t have the weakness break speed blessing, not that the phase 3 shield stood a chance, I have never broken it this fast…
Granted I’m still at low difficulty (I’m trailblazer lvl 49) but I have ass relics so I think it balances out, and it just makes me wonder how extremely busted a well built DoT team with SW could be in SU. I’ll be waiting for the runs because they will definitely be eye candy.

 | Long time lurker, first time poster. What a few couple of weeks! I’m on a burner account here, to further protect my anonymity, hence the lack of posting history. This is long, but bear with me. I think it’s worth it... submitted by VeryLargeArray25 to UFOs [link] [comments] -- Something David Grusch (DG) said in his interview with the French newspaper is sticking in my craw. According to DG in that interview, the first (and only) recovery he was approved to disclose by the DoD was the 1933 Magenta crash in Italy. According to DG in that interview, the OSS recovered the vehicle / bodies from where they were being stored in Italy in 1944. Here’s his quote from the interview: I: Can we learn more about the places where these "vessels" were recovered? DG: One of them was in Italy in 1933, it is the oldest case on which I have been briefed. I can't talk about others. What would have happened? In 1933, a vessel resembling a bell, about ten meters in size, was recovered in Magenta, northern Italy. It was kept by Mussolini's government until officers from the Office of Strategic Services (OSS, a former US intelligence agency) recovered it in 1944. The irony is that it Predates anything the public has heard of for decades, like Roswell, etc. I was cleared to speak about it by the Department of Defense Security Prepublication and Review Office. Now, I want to say that so far DG has is about as reliable as they come. Unimpeachable qualifications, following the proper protocol / whistleblower disclosure procedures, etc. The real deal. But here’s my problem with DG’s 1944 timeline… The 1933 Magenta Crash happened in Northern Italy, outside Milan, in a district called Magenta. This is basically the gist of the Fascist UFO Files, *if* you believe them to be authentic. Pinotti hypothesized that the crash wreckage and possibly pilots were either transferred nearby to the SIAI Marcheti hangars at the airfield in Vergiate, IT… OR transferred to the SIAI Marchetti HQ/factory in Sesto Calende (also very close by): Source: Author. All that tracks so far with what DG has said, right? But then, Pinotti claimed that the SIAI Marchetti airfield was liberated by the 1st Armored Division during Operation Grapeshot in Apr 1945 and that’s when the 1933 crash wreckage was recovered by the United States. And that’s where my issues lies — what timeline, if either, is correct? Was the 1933 crash wreckage recovered by OSS agents in 1944, as according to DG? OR Was the SIAI Marchetti Airfield at Vergiate (where the crash wreckage was supposedly stored) liberated by 1st Armored Div in 1945, as hypothesized by Pinotti? Obviously, DG seems like a more reliable source, given his unimpeachable reputation. But… there is a well documented historical record here for further context, so I started digging. In 1944, Northern Italy was still under Italian / German control. Which means that if we’re to believe DG’s claim that OSS agents recovered the 1933 Magenta Craft in 1944… the OSS team would have had to parachute behind enemy lines, steal quite likely one of the most heavily guarded secrets in the entire Nazi empire, and then somehow transport the wreckage (10m bell) and the pilots' biological remains south through enemy territory and back across allied lines. A) I want to see that movie. B) That operation stretches the bounds of credulity. I’m not saying it’s not possible. And OSS Leader Wild Bill Donovan was called Wild Bill for a reason. But I’ll be damned if it’s not one of the craziest ideas I’ve ever heard. So, that’s DG’s stated timeline on the recovery. What about Pinotti’s hypothesis? Well, he was right about a lot of things. That area of Northern Italy (Milan and its environs) was liberated by the US 1st Armored Division in April 1945 during Operation Grapeshot. But a US Army division is massive, comprised of tens of thousands of soldiers. An entire division didn’t likely liberate the airport. A specific unit did. After some digging, I discovered the US Army 81st Calvary Reconnaissance Squadron (Mechanized) was responsible for that sector of territory the 1st Armored Div was liberating. What's interesting about that is that on the very public facing webpages like wikipedia, the 81st Cav isn't listed in the order of battle under the 1st Armored Division. But if you dig into the historical record, they were definitely there. The 81st Cav was a Squadron or Company sized unit, fielding roughly 200 soldiers in mechanized vehicles. It was a scout unit. Out on the vanguard of the offensive. Highly mobile and fast. And keep in mind, this is warfare. The US Army in Italy and its allies are pushing hard against the German and Italian lines, trying to liberate northern Italy. Here’s a pic of one element of the 81st Cav in Vergato, a few weeks prior to Apr 1945: Source: https://granger.com/results.asp?inline=true&image=0180605&wwwflag=4&itemx=17 So, if we're to believe Pinotti's hypothesis that elements of the 1st Armored Division liberated the SIAI Marchetti Airfield in Vergiate (and discovered the wreckage of the 1933 Magenta crash stored there), it's a very good bet that elements of the 81st Cav Reconnaissance Squad liberated that airport1. So, why is it important to understand what unit specifically was there? Because, the US Military loves paperwork. And during the war, these frontline units would write daily / weekly / monthly after-action reports, detailing what missions occurred on each day. Those became part of the unit's history of the war. A documented paper trail of what was happening when. It's a pretty thick PDF of AARs that you can download, and you can track the 81st's movements through northern Italy in the areas around Magenta and Milan. The time period we're interested in begins on page 142. (One quick note -- the archivist got the title of the unit wrong in the library's classification system, calling them the 81st Armored Battalion. But it's the same unit, as you can tell from the top of the photo above. If you play around with searching for more documents look both for 81st Calvary Reconnaissance Squadron AND 81st Armored Battalion). This is where it gets weird, IMO. If you download the document of the 81st Cav's AARs, the scans of the original pages are pretty decent. Not great, but decent. But when you reach the page about the 81st Cav's activities in the beginning of May of 1945, it begins to look funky. Here's what May 1945 looks like: Source: Same site as above, pg. 152 of downloaded PDF. It's readable, if you try. But it's very, very difficult to follow. And it makes me wonder, is that intentional? Was this an addendum or altered AAR, given what the 81st Cav may have discovered when liberating the SIAI Marchetti Vergiate Airport? Was it written after the events of late Apr / early May 1945 on different paper or with different ink, and that's what contributed to the bad scan? That's all highly speculative, I know. If you read the next page in the section, there are multiple days of "No Change for the squadron." Source: Same as the above, additions in pink by the author. Why was there no change for the squadron? Well, one possible reason is that Germany officially surrendered in Italy on May 2nd, 1945. But mop-up operations, prisoner transport, etc were ongoing for weeks afterwards. But also, if your unit had come across something wholly unbelievable, and you were pulling guard duty while waiting for the higher-ups to figure out what to do with it, but you still had to officially document what your unit was up to while pulling that top-secret guard duty... Again, speculative. I know. Anyway, this was all born out of a desire to understand who's timeline of events concerning the recovery of the 1933 Magenta Crash wreckage is correct -- David Grusch's or Pinotti's. My 2 cents? I think DG maybe the date wrong by 6 months, claiming OSS recovered the wreckage in late 1944 when in actuality it was in Apr / May 1945 right after that area had been liberated. And the 81st Cav Reconnaissance Squadron was pulling guard duty at either the SIAI Marchetti Airport in Vergiate or the SIAI Marchetti HQ in Sesto Calende for a few days in early 1945 while waiting for OSS to organize the retrieval. But, I'm sure we'll know soon enough. 1 - There was another unit operating in the area at that time. The 34th Infantry Division. I haven't dug into their movements as much. |

I am 24F and bipolar. I’ve been diagnosed three years ago, it’s been rough but I’m on meds and try to have a routine. I have very sharp mood swings throughout the day and I always feel ‘too much’.
I’ve been together with my bf(24M) for almost 2 years now. He has ADHD and derealization. We actually clicked because we were both struggling with the concept of reality since I’ve been having hallucinations that time. We help each other out. When we started dating, I wasn’t that bad with mood swings but throughout the year I got worse. He is so helpful, so nice and so understanding. He manages everything so well. But he says I usually confuse him because my mood changes so drastically and he doesn’t know what to do sometimes. I got sad over this and he said ‘It’s okay, u know I love challenges. Maintaining u is challenging but fun. I love to help’. He was so nice again. But what if one day he’ll say ‘It’s too much’ and leave? For example a few nights ago I asked him ‘What is a question u would like me to ask u frequently?’. He said ‘I would like it if u sometimes asked -would u like me to leave u alone?-. Bcuz sometimes I’m busy but I don’t want u to feel lonely or neglected so I make time for u but it prevents me from working since concentrating is hard for me’. I am gonna work on this.
I am in a phase where I don’t really know myself if that makes sense. I can’t tell when I feel or think something if it’s bipolar or me genuinely. It’s hard as I don’t remember past very well. I don’t know who I was and I don’t know who I am. Sometimes it’s too much so I just go walk around for a few hours and he gets worried. I tell him where I am and when will I go home but he still feels uncomfortable.
We have a healthy relationship, we never fight or hurt each other, we are best friends. I want to marry this guy, I want to be the best version of myself for him. We work in the same industry(game) and we have lots of fun.
So my question is how can I help him and my relationship in general? Do u have any tips? And if u also have ADHD, what would u like ur partner to do about that?

Hi I’m kinda new to these things but here’s my story. I’m gonna give you a little background. I 19(m) have liked this girl 19(f) since my freshman year. She’s super sweet funny and made me happy, we talked every single day during school and all night texting or video chatting. I had deep feelings for this girl but I could tell she didn’t feel the same about me until our senior year before graduation she came up to me and asked if we could talk in private. I was surprised but agreed we step out into the hallway and she pushes me into a janitor’s closet and starts kissing me and telling me how badly she’s wanted to be with me for years I was in shock. I should’ve noticed this before anything further went on because she’s rejected me many times before. We met up later that night for dinner and she gave it up to me in the back of my car. I was happy we start conversating daily and at school as well. 3 weeks go by and she comes up to me all scared and tells me she’s pregnant. I’m excited I’ve always wanted to be a dad I even told her this many times and I told her I would be there for her and support her through the pregnancy. Keep in mind I was working for a company during highschool making money and knew I had a job opportunity there in the future. Fast forward about 3 months we’re at the doctors office getting a ultrasound and then the doctors proceed to tell us that she’s actually 4 months pregnant I was in shock the dates didn’t add up. *before all this I went out and spent a few thousand dollars on supplies for the baby and stuff for her apartment for her. I was so upset I stormed out the room and sat in my car heartbroken. It turns out she was sleeping with 2 other guys and after the baby was born a simple dna test showed I wasn’t the father which made me more upset but relieved. Any advice on what I can do I’ve been struggling financially since the incident and she’s refusing to return my calls any advice out there I’d deeply appreciate

2023.06.10 18:48 No-Cardiologist-3773 335i won’t turn over
Car had multiple codes popping up on the dash slowly such as break pads , tpms malfunction, passenger air bag then the cars electricity flickered on and off for a split second then worked normal. The rest of the drive was smooth but then the CIC wouldn’t work no buttons would communicate to the CIC display. Finally the car completely shut off on the highway turned on again but went into limp mode and restricted driving to 5mph. Car got towed to my house where the battery was tested came out fine. Alternator was tested , it wasn’t matching the numbers of others on the web so it wasn’t replaced immediately I then did research and read up it could be the voltage regulator and I replaced that as mine seemed worn down. Nothing occurred from that. Got a brand alternator just put in and car wouldn’t turn over again right now. The only thing I can think of is me needing a new battery but battery reads to full voltage. Not sure what else it can be any help would be appreciated. My next step would be to look into the fuse box but it’s the last thing I wanted to do since I have to tear all the trim off.

I am 24F and bipolar. I’ve been diagnosed three years ago, it’s been rough but I’m on meds and try to have a routine. I have very sharp mood swings throughout the day and I always feel ‘too much’.
I’ve been together with my bf(24M) for almost 2 years now. He has ADHD and derealization. We actually clicked because we were both struggling with the concept of reality since I’ve been having hallucinations that time. We help each other out. When we started dating, I wasn’t that bad with mood swings but throughout the year I got worse. He is so helpful, so nice and so understanding. He manages everything so well. But he says I usually confuse him because my mood changes so drastically and he doesn’t know what to do sometimes. I got sad over this and he said ‘It’s okay, u know I love challenges. Maintaining u is challenging but fun. I love to help’. He was so nice again. But what if one day he’ll say ‘It’s too much’ and leave? For example a few nights ago I asked him ‘What is a question u would like me to ask u frequently?’. He said ‘I would like it if u sometimes asked -would u like me to leave u alone?-. Bcuz sometimes I’m busy but I don’t want u to feel lonely or neglected so I make time for u but it prevents me from working since concentrating is hard for me’. I am gonna work on this.
I am in a phase where I don’t really know myself if that makes sense. I can’t tell when I feel or think something if it’s bipolar or me genuinely. It’s very confusing for me as I also don’t remember past very well. I don’t know who I was and I don’t know who I am apart this illness. Sometimes it’s too much so I just go walk around for a few hours and he gets worried. I tell him where I am and when will I go home but he still feels uncomfortable.
We have a healthy relationship, we never fight or hurt each other, we are best friends. I want to marry this guy, I want to be the best version of myself for him. We work in the same industry(game) and we have lots of fun.
So my question is how can I help him and my relationship in general? What are your tips? And if u have ADHD, what would u like ur partner to do about that?

2023.06.10 18:46 No-Cardiologist-3773 Bmw 335i won’t turn over
Car had multiple codes popping up on the dash slowly such as break pads , tpms malfunction, passenger air bag then the cars electricity flickered on and off for a split second then worked normal. The rest of the drive was smooth but then the CIC wouldn’t work no buttons would communicate to the CIC display. Finally the car completely shut off on the highway turned on again but went into limp mode and restricted driving to 5mph. Car got towed to my house where the battery was tested came out fine. Alternator was tested , it wasn’t matching the numbers of others on the web so it wasn’t replaced immediately I then did research and read up it could be the voltage regulator and I replaced that as mine seemed worn down. Nothing occurred from that. Got a brand alternator just put in and car wouldn’t turn over again right now. The only thing I can think of is me needing a new battery but battery reads to full voltage. Not sure what else it can be any help would be appreciated. My next step would be to look into the fuse box but it’s the last thing I wanted to do since I have to tear all the trim off.

#includeNew to all this C++ jazz, watching tutorials to explain things to myself and then hopping into VS to try play with new knowledge. Been alright at noticing what's been wrong with previous files by using the 'Error List' and 'Output', but this new error has left me quite confused:include "Log.h" int main() { int x = 1; { if (x == 3) Log("Hello World!"); else if (x == 2) Log("Bread"); else Log("NO"); } std::cin.get(); }
"Error LNK1168 cannot open C:\Dev\Hello World\x64\Debug\Hello World.exe for writing, C:\Dev\Hello World\LINK, Line 1"No errors occur when compiling, only when debugging or building.
I'm sure its a simple fix but my (not even) 2 hours of C++ knowledge isn't coming in very handy here, would love some help!

I recently bought a second-hand switch. It is RCM exploitable and I think I followed all the steps properly. I use Atmosphere v1.5.2 and have stock 16.0.2 in my sysMMC.
Now to the problem. If I start Atmosphere through Hekate (v6.0.4 and v6.0.5) I get the Atmosphere logo with some green lines and then end in a fusée error message "A fatal error occurred when running Fusée. Abort called, lr=0x4001060d"
Trying to boot it into CFW with the fusee.bin (correct version from Github) directly launched I shortly see the Atmosphere logo and then a black screen. Nothing more happens except I can send the fusee.bin payload again. Resending the fusee.bin payload throughs than a Kernel Panic (0xf00) with the Program ID: 524850534f53454d.
Sometimes I got lucky and it booted into Atmosphere. No clue what I changed when I did that. I used the same payloads, same notebook and same cable.
Using emuMMC or sysMMC doesn't change anything in the behavior.
The SD Card is a newly bought one (today) and is from a trusted vendor. It is a official one and f3 on my Linux doesn't report any errors.
Booting the stock firmware works flawlessly and it is "usable" = I don't have any games bought yet.
Any help or hints on where to look further would be appreciated.
