I'm wondering if there is a possibility to make money out of it.

 | After looking at u/Sanaii’s posts about vertical the other day I was thinking about some of the less “textbook” approaches to vertical in my own wardrobe and how we can work with items that don’t necessarily follow all the “rules.” submitted by 0300008 to Kibbe [link] [comments] In the first picture, i have a monochrome outfit which is fitted the whole way down and slightly bootcut, creating one long and relatively straight line. By all accounts this should be the most dramatic-appropriate look. What I don’t like about this silhouette is that the high waisted pants emphasize the curve in my hips rather than the straight line of my legs. The second picture features a pair of slightly cropped, slightly oversized jeans which are not the same color as my top. What works for me here is that the jeans hold a much straighter and stiffer line from my hips to my ankles and don’t emphasize the curved line of my hip. With black boots to tie the top to the bottom, I think this outfit will work really well despite being cropped and different colors. Thoughts? |

45 minutes drive from my house in Detroit. I can't even tell what road I'm on because it's been the same bleak monolith of 8 lane arterials, large SUVs, and beige big box stores for the past 10 miles.
God, is this really what people want? I like safe neighborhoods, good schools, etc. as much as anyone. But this is awful...I can't imagine having to deal with driving from fake-brick cube to fake-brick cube, day in and day out, for everything...and that's my life.
I'm very glad that I live in Detroit.

 | Finished my King Seiko SPB279 J1 homage! 37mm case is sublime! Like most butterfly bracelets, getting a good wrist fit is rare… 7.25” wrist for reference. This build was approximately $430 all in and was my 5th Seiko mod build project. submitted by Legitimate_Ad_8964 to SeikoMods [link] [comments] All parts purchased from Ali Express. NH35 movement fit tightly without much fuss. OEM case and bracelet from the Heimdellr Store. Like others, I had to patiently wait for both the case and bracelet to be put back in stock. Checked everyday for a few months and struck the jackpot one day. They seem to be regularly in stock now which is awesome for others! Bracelet is pin and collar and it’s an absolutely pain sizing with the 5 link system… Have patience and steady hands when sizing! The boxed sapphire dial glass is like a magnifying glass on this dial! Purchased two “KS” dials from Ali. Search and you will find in a few minutes. If you find them, purchase dial color 2 and 4 (w/ hands) if you want the knurled 12 o clock indice to match this particular dial. I’m assuming the seller doesn’t sell color 4 due to copyright reasons. I carefully applied fingernail polish remover with a cotton swap on the back of dial color 2 12 o clock indice to dissolve the adhesive and carefully pushed the indice legs out with a sewing needle. Performed the same operation on dial color 4 to install the knurled 12 o clock indice. Carefully utilized a cotton swab to align and push the indice back in place as to not scratch the dial. Used a precision super glue pin to secure the indice back in place on the back of the dial. I also used the hands that came with dial color 4 as they look way better than the dauphene hands from the SPB243 J1 model and lends homage to other vintage KS models with the exact same hands. Also, finding dauphene hands that fit this 28.5mm dial size is tough as most are meant for Seiko Presage builds with a 33.5mm dial… I aligned the KS shield case back vertically with the rest of the watch because of my OCD. I love the shield logos utilized on both the crown and case back! Research what the crown logo means if you truly love the KS brand 😎 The case, bracelet, dial, and hands throw all sorts of light and reflection in direct sunlight. I have several integrated bracelet watches and this one is hands down the prettiest of them all. Looks a million bucks! Would’ve loved an applied logo on the dial, but the printing looks nice and crisp! I’ve tried purchasing S logo decals from Ali to apply over S logos on dials, but the logo printing and decal never match in sizing to look OEM. The finished product is truly one of a kind! For now… 😎 |

Shard and Shara stand in an open field with no one else around. There’s a slight breeze as the two stare each other down. Share with an emotionless face and Shara a devilish grin
Shara: “You know I was hoping this fight would happen sooner, I wanted to use Uncreative’s powers against you, but unfortunately they’ve worn off. It’s no matter though. I can still kill you without them”
before Shard could respond Gamma formed itself into a scythe for Shara who blitzes towards Shard who barely manages to block the attack by summoning a shield made from their Determination. Shard then throws Shara off of who but she lands on her feet. Share then summons a sword of Determination and gets ready to fight
Shard: “You sure we can’t talk this out?”
Shara: “Very”
Shard: “So be it”
Shard slashes the air with their sword sending a wave of energy at Shara. Gamma turns itself into a barrier that blocks the attack. Shard runs in for an attack but Gamma wraps itself around Shara’s right arm and turns into a bladed whip. She swings it at Shard who blocks it but the force cracks their shield and sends them flying
Shard lands on their back and before they can get up Shara had jumped into the air with Gamma now as a large hammer that she swings down on Shard. Shard blocks it but the impact makes a crater in the ground and nearly breaks their shield. Shard grabs hold of the hammer and sends a bolt of lightning through it shocking Shara and sending her crashing into a nearby cliff. Shara gets up and grabs their head and thinks ti herself
Shara: “So this is what pain feels like, not as bad as I thought”
Gamma morphs into a bow as Shara makes arrows out of a pink energy, she fires and the one arrow splits into thirty. Shard takes their sword and deflects most of them but one impales them in the leg. Shara capitalizes on this window and wraps Gamma around Shard immobilizing them. She then punches them in the face sending them flying. Before Shard could hit the ground Shara appears behind them and kicks them into the air. Shara then appears into of Shard again but before she could attack Shard breaks free and blasts her with a fire ball. Gamma catches her before she falls to the ground as Shard lands breaking their fall with a pillar of water
Shard gets back up to continue the fight but they stop and fall to one knee. They feel weaker and struggle to get back up. Just then they hear Shara laughing as they hear a noise
[You have drained 35% of Shard’s Determination]
Shara: “I’m surprised you didn’t notice it sooner. I’ll admit you’re strong being able to fight like that while being drained. But I wanted to make sure that I would win right here and now”
just as she said that the sky changes colors as swirling pink energy appears above them. As Shard looks at it they realize something, they realize what it is made of
Shard: “Those are-“
Shara: “giggles Yup! Those are souls! But not just any souls. You see before Uncreative’s ice magic wore off I used his Dimension Ice to travel back to our home universe”
Shard: “No, you didn’t”
Shara smiles a big evil grin as she continues
Shara: “There I killed everyone you ever cared for, everyone one you’ve ever loved, and I harvested their souls, and before I left I destroyed that universe to make sure that you couldn’t just reset everyone back. They’re dead Shard, and they’re staying dead!”
as Shara said that the pink lights went into her. She drained and absorbed every last soul that she had harvested as Shard felt all their friends be erased as they were absorbed. After Shara was done her hair turned completely pink and she erupted in a pink aura. Shard just looked at the ground their hair covering their eyes. Before they could react Shara was behind they with Gamma as a scythe once again. A huge gash appeared on Shard’s body nearly cutting them in two
Shara: “Oh don’t look so down my other. You’ll be joining your friends soon enough”

2023.06.10 19:50 a-pox-on-you Completed Notes from the Storyteller but no blank page
As I understand it, if you find all 20 Elven Notes and return them to Storyteller, he should help you with the Lexicon of Paradox in some way. However, this does not appear to be any help. You receive the Storyteller's Knowledge ability which allows you to reroll Lore and Knowledge skill checks which is sort-of helpful, I guess, but he doesn't mention the Lexicon or give you the blank page which is supposed to help you reassemble it.
For reference, here are the pages I found:
He acknowledged the Page Smeared with Blood and Soot but didn't ask anything else about it or take it - unlike the rest of the notes it remained in my inventory. As I understand it, you only have to answer questions about it if you end up fighting Vorimeraak in the Molten Scar.
As it happens, I managed to read the Lexicon of Paradox by eating well and dressing for the occasion, but there's supposed to be an easier way to do this than making punishing Lore and Knowledge checks. What did I miss?

I have many dreams that happen in schools, old blocks of flats, small towns, shopping malls, but there is one place that is so strange that I need to talk about it.
It looks like this or this or this, or this. It depends on the dream.
Basement corridors, this place has long corridors that lead nowhere and everywhere. In the beginning, when I started dreaming about them, I walked into them by chance, sort of "backroom clipping from reality" or some kind of door just led to this place. At first, I got lost in them, I wandered around. it's a huge endless labyrinth. sometimes the corridors had windows, green doors, or plain wooden doors, all with numbers on them to indicate it was someones property. I vividly remember once finding a room where an old man had a shop full of wooden figures he had made from those doors. It would be just a place I dream about, but this place is more than that. It appears in almost all of my dreams, but not as the main thing if that makes any sense. I could have a dream where I'm talking to a friend and then I notice a hole in a building that looks like there used to be a door or like I said before go through a normal door and I WAS IN THIS PLACE AGAIN (I once was in an old building and the floor collapsed and I fell into this place). With time and exploration, I realized that some doors can be opened and are shortcuts to other places in the dream I am currently having.(or lead to a completely different dream). Some Corridors can even lead me outside on their own, which is rare. I have been dreaming about this place for about 8 years, it has helped me in many situations, such as escaping nightmares or traveling faster. It scared me at first, but I got used to it, tho it's still not very pleasant place to be in. Some might say I dream of a "backroom" but believe me, it's not backrooms, I've had dreams where I was in all sorts of backrooms, and the basement even led me to it once. It's different. If anyone is still reading, have any of you ever dreamed of this place? Maybe someone knows what it is/means.
More details of this place:
Smells of mold and wet cement/concrete. The walls are white, green,gray or the color of dirty sand. The doors are always wooden in brown or green. behind some doors someTHING can be heard. If you look through a keyhole, it's always dark on the other side, though it could lead to some sunny place.There are pipes with running water. No one else roams the halls when you're there. You can take people there, but once they get out from there, they'll forget about it. This is rare, but there may be stairs going up or down. (There are lights), in some places there are no lights, there are light switches, but you can't turn on the light. The doors are numbered from 0 to 100, if there are stairs you can have numbers from 0 to 399.
If anyone has some questions I'm happy to answer them.
